Mystery Mills and Oddities

One of the more challenging aspects of working in the Mills Archive is the need to identify images of mills or people, some long-gone, that have not been properly labelled. Why not look over those we have and email us with suggestions and ideas?

If you have any mystery mills yourself, please email an image to us so that we can include it! We will of course publish any conclusions and ideas we get next to the images and you can extend the discussion by agreeing or disagreeing with what has gone before.

Important sites

We are collecting and displaying a selected list of the most important Internet sites relating to mills and milling. To keep the list useful, we will limit the number of links we display and only include those we feel are of particular interest to the Friends and those interested in mills.

If you have a mills site or know of one that deserves to be included, please send us the link with a thumbnail picture, a suggested title and a short (20 words) text to include with the link. Look at those we already have to get the idea of what we need.
