We are very glad to say that Windmill Hill windmill restoration project was completed in the autumn of 2006. We are now open to the public from Easter and there various attractions here for you now to see. When you enter the roundhouse, you can see the display panels, view the enormous post through the trap hatch, and watch the short film about the restoration. You can climb the long ladder with handrails on either side and get a spectacular view of the countryside. You will enter the mill body on the Meal floor and you can see the old oak timbers with new wood spliced onto the ends that had rotted away.
