National Mills Weekend is the UK's best opportunity to tell the public about our mills. Many are open just for the weekend and we really need to give them as much publicity as possible.

This year the dates are 12 and 13 May - so not much time left to tell the world about what is happening. If you hear about an event or know about a region, let us know and we will publicise it on Mill Writing.

Don't forget the SPAB Mills Section's splendid information resource if you need detailed information about a particular mill

Hi Ron
Great to see a discussion starting about this years Mills weekend! Exciting things are being planned up and down the country from open days to walks between mills. I’ve been working on the national publicity which I hope to get out to everyone in the next two weeks but can confirm that our theme for 2012 will be “Traditional Mills at the heart of your Community” - much much more to follow over the next few weeks and months and I’ll keep you all updated!
