National Mills Weekend 2009

We are thinking of opening on National Mills Weekend this year. It is on May 9-10 2009. If we do, will anyone come to see us?

Like many other European countries, each year a weekend is set aside for as many mills as possible to be open to the public. The SPAB Mills Section has a page giving more information at http://www.nationalmillsweekend.co.uk/nmw.htm and information about mills opening at http://www.nationalmillsweekend.co.uk/index.htm

If you are in the Reading area, we can offer free parking during your visit, so why not pop in and see us? We will have an exhibtion and be there to explain what we do and (of course) there be lots of stuff on show about windmills and watermills.

This will be our first public opening at a weekend. Give us some encouragement by responding, even if you can't make it. I imagine we will be open on Saturday afternoon only - but that depends on the demand!
