I agree, this appears to be Preston's mill, Seaton Ross, not to be confused with its near neighbour, Fisher's Mill.
You can see in the picture the V- links to the roller blinds of Captain Hooper's roller reefing system, with which this mill was fitted.
There are a couple of paragraphs on this mill in Roy Gregory & Laurence Turner's book 'Windmills of Yorkshire' (P35). In it they state that the empty tower survives.
The only remaining mill with this sail system as far as I am aware is Ballycopeland windmill, Millisle, Co Down, NI. However this mill no longer has the roller blinds fitted, although I photographed them some years ago.

Mystery Five-sailed Mill

I was wondering whether anyone could possibly identify the attached windmill.

The photo comes from the Stichting Levende Molens archive at Roosendaal, which focusses on Flanders and the south of The Netherlands. Apart from that, they have some photos from other countries too, including this one.
The photo is without any captions, but no doubt it is a British one. It carries five sails, which should make it not too difficult to identify, although a survey compiled by TIMS member Frans Woons lists not less than 60 such five-sailed mills in the UK!
I have given it a try myself, and I was wondering whether it could be the Old Mill at Seaton Ross, in East Yorkshire. The mill seems very much the same, but the buildings surrounding the mill do not quite fit. Any suggestions would be welcome. Many thanks in advance, also on behalf of the Stichting Levende Molens.

Thank you for the positive identification of this five-sailer. I have informed the Stichting Levende Molens who keeps this nice photo and they are most grateful.
