"Millers and Methodists" is a new book by Chris Mesley on milling in Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire which has been published by Leighton Buzzard and District Archaeological and Historical Society.

The book looks at the history of Leighton’s mills and the families who ran them, most of whom were leading Methodists in the town starting with the Flemons dynasty at the beginning of the 18th century. The book is full of illustrations of the mills, the churches, family trees and maps of the town as well as advertisements from the local newspaper.
