Watlington House houses over a million items relating to wind/water/animal powered mills and milling families. As well as our comprehensive website http://www.millsarchive.com we provide a research facility within our library.

Our material comes from donated major collections amassed over the past 70+ years which contain precious records of a way of life and industry rarely seen today. A band of enthusiastic volunteers will show you how we are Saving The Memories and you'll see how you can help too! Indeed, should you have mill related items they wish to contribute, however small, they will be well received here.

We are open from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 9 May there is a free car park and free refreshments. Based near the centre of Reading, we are easy to find. Click on the related article to find out more.
