Other organisations collaborating with the Mills Archive

We are collaborating with major international, national and regional archives and mill-related bodies to share information. These include:

• The Muggeridge Collections at the University of Kent
• UK Mills Research Group
• SPAB Mills Section
• TIMS, The International Molinological Society
• Weald and Downland Open Air Museum

The National Monuments Record and the Muggeridge Collection both contain very large numbers of mill-related photographs. We have worked with them to digitise parts of their collections and to integrate the detail into our catalogue. For example, their pictures of Dorset and Nottinghamshire mills have been included in our catalogue as part of the Mills Archive Online project.

Individual mills

A growing number of individual mills are supporting the Mills Archive by becoming Friends and backing us with regular donations. They have a dedicated page of their own.
