Please help the Mills Archive to look after their important and vulnerable records, so that they can be made freely available and tell us so much about our vanishing heritage.

Becoming a Friend gives you special benefits.

Running an Archive is expensive.

Friends can help the Archive in many ways, not only financially but by volunteering or by donating relevant documents & pictures, sharing your memories with others.

Ways to subscribe

Using your credit card by PayPal automatic subscriptions

To join via the Internet, you first need to complete your contact information on the shop site by registering your profile. Please note the information is different to that required on the Mills Archive site, so we must ask you to register again.

This information will not be passed to third parties and it will only be used by us to communicate with you about your purchases or Friends’ membership.

Once registered, you can then subscribe instantly using PayPal through the form provided on the Join the Friends page.
Please use the same email address as the one in your profile so that we can link payments to specific Friends.

Regular income is so important to the work of the Mills Archive that we ask you to pay at least £5 a month, please consider more if you can afford it!

Paypal is a safe and easy way to process credit card transactions at no extra cost to you and without you needing to tell us your card details.

Once you have made a payment to join the Friends, you qualify for various benefits including discounts on purchases. If you wish to use the discount offer, please wait for the system to send you a second email with the subject "profile is modified", which means we have told the server to recognise you as a Friend as discounts are then applied automatically. Note that as this stage is not automatic, it may be a day or so before we can tell the server to recognise you.

Traditional paper-based method

Simply download our form, print it and fill it in, and send it back to us. Please make sure you agree to at least £5 per month!
